Ubuntu Time Improvement

Posted: February 5th, 2008 | Author: | Filed under: technology | No Comments »

FINALLY. Someone over at Ubuntu was listening to my prayers and they decided to rewrite the ugly world clock/weather applet for the Desktop.

As someone who travels a lot, I hate having to change the time zone. It currently displays a list of cities. I have to find a city in my time zone to change it, even if I am nowhere near the city. In the new version, it looks like you can edit locations and just pick on a map. I can’t wait for Hardy Heron to be released.
